The teacher should love what he teaches.
To help students love English or any other subject, the teacher should love his subject. This type of love is not a sentimental one but it is a real and practical one. He should know almost everything about his subject. In English, he should have a knowledge of the course level suitable for the age of his students, how to act the rule of a a smooth bridge between the subject matter and the students' brains. The teacher should have the mastery over the modern methodologies and classroom strategies. At last he should know the classifications of his students, their skills , their needs and their multiple intelligences.
